Idea Exploration
I wanted to draw the repeating fishes in the seven straight lines OR in a repetition of circle shapes.

Figure 1.5 repetition sketch#1 ,week 2(17/01/2023)

Figure 1.6 repetition sketch#2 ,wek2 (17/01/2023)

I decided to choose sketch #2 as my final design in repetition because the fishes in the circle shapes arrangement looks more active and vivid.

FEDBACK:
Miss Yip gave me feedback that are my design for repetition reflects the principle. To make it more interesting, I can enhance on the movement lines so the repetition also creates movement. After sketching, I paint on it and added the movement lines in my final design.

FINAL DESIGN

The final design exactly same with the figure 1.6, I added more fishes, blue color and also the lines of the movement to make the design more interesting and vivid.

EMPHASIS

RECAP
Emphasis is the part of the design that catches the viewer's attention. Usually the artist will make one area stand out by contrasting it with other areas. The area could be different in size, color, texture, shape, etc. Movement is the path the viewer's eye takes through the work of art

Figure 2.5 emphasis sketch#1 ,week 2(18/01/2023)

Therefore, I draw a traffic light on the road, the traffic light represent the emphasis. Besides, I add the building and the sky as the background to make the design more diversification.

the traffic light and yellow colour is the emphasis of my final design.

REFLECTION
First of all, I was trying to understand and watch all the recording about all the design principles that given by Miss Yip. After getting know all of the design principles are, I decide to choose 2 of the design principles as the title of my assignment which are repetition and emphasis.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT? what you have learnt and discovered from this experience.
I understand the knowledge of design principles in work of design and I have learned how to do a research correctly on the internet to perform a good work.

In the process of research, I was looking for the details about the theme of emphasis and repetition one time and one time until I found the interesting ideas.

I also learned about how to combine all the ideas that I found into a final idea. I keep asking myself that is it represent the emphasis and repetition? Therefore, my final design are showing the emphasis and the repetition very clearly.
